Director’s Message

During the month of November, Americans celebrate two national holidays – Thanksgiving Day and Veterans Day. While Thanksgiving is traditionally thought of as an opportunity to reflect upon the bounty that we enjoy, Veterans Day is also a day for giving thanks and recognition to those who have served our nation.

To all of our veterans, thank you for your service and the sacrifices you have made. For those still serving our nation, thank you for your continuing service. May God bless all of you and keep you safe wherever your duties take you.

Infraspection Level III Now Available Online

Infraspection is pleased to announce the addition of Level III Thermography to our popular Distance Learning Program. Level III Thermography is a 21 hour course focused on best practices for infrared inspections and associated activities. This course contains information vital to the long term success of an infrared inspection program.
A worldwide exclusive, this course covers advanced topics related to developing, implementing, and managing a successful infrared inspection program. Topics include: latest applications, hardware and software, current industry standards and specifications, OSHA and NFPA safety standards, marketing and promoting an infrared inspection program, thermography as legal documentation, current industry certification criteria, and how to develop and implement standards-compliant written practices and procedures.

Course tuition includes 24 hour access to all online course presentations, Student Reference Manual, online quizzes, self-directed field assignments, proof of course completion, and free ground shipping of course materials within the continental US. Student must complete training within 60 days of registration.

Upon course completion, students may take the Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer® exam. Exams are available at no charge at the end of regularly scheduled open enrollment classes, or at our annual IR/INFO Conference. For a fee, exams may be taken via secure video link or at authorized testing centers.

Infraspection Sponsored Marching Band Wins National Award

The Seneca High School Marching Band of Tabernacle, NJ was presented with the Dinkles Spirit of Band Award at the US Bands National Championship held at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ. The band, sponsored by Infraspection Institute, gave an outstanding performance and also received the highest score of their 2013 season.
Band Director Keith Styers explained the significance of the honor: “The Spirit Award is presented to the band whose members best exemplify school pride, friendship, creativity, camaraderie and good sportsmanship.” Jim Seffrin, Director of Infraspection Institute, stated, “We are very proud of the Seneca Golden Eagles and their accomplishments. It has been a pleasure watching them grow and compete as a band.”

During the past several years, Infraspection Institute has supported various youth programs within the southern New Jersey area. Seffrin adds, “Infraspection is deeply committed to sponsoring programs that provide learning opportunities. Marching band is a powerful means to help young people grow and develop character. We wish to thank all of the band directors and parents who volunteer their time to make such programs possible.”
