Mount Laurel, NJ September 28, 2014 -- Fifteen thermographers from across the US recently completed the Level II Infraspection Institute Certified Infrared Thermographer® training course. Building upon information taught in Level I, Infraspection’s Level II course covers advanced infrared theory and imager operation with a focus on accurate non-contact temperature measurement. The course was taught by Jim Seffrin, Director of Infraspection Institute.
At the conclusion of the course, Mr. Seffrin had this to say: “We are very proud of our Level II graduates. These are folks that recognize that thermography is not a ‘simply point and shoot’ technology. Undertaking Level II training shows that they have made a commitment to broadening their knowledge and improving their skill sets.”
Infraspection’s Level II Certified Infrared Thermographer® training course covers advanced infrared theory, equipment calibration, error sources, cross-verification with contact thermometers, advanced equipment operation, use of windows and filters, assigning temperature limits and repair priorities, and quantitative report generation.
