Burlington, NJ January 28, 2008 --- Infraspection
Institute’s IR/INFO conference was recently held in Orlando,
Florida. IR/INFO 2008 marks the 19th anniversary for the advanced
training conference, technical symposium and technology expo.
IR/INFO was attended by infrared thermographers, PdM technologists,
and NDT professionals from around the world who enjoyed four
days of networking and learning in a relaxed, family atmosphere.
Jim
Seffrin, Director of Infraspection Institute, states, “We
were very pleased with this year’s IR/INFO conference.
With 5 short courses and over 18 technical papers, this year’s
conference covered a broad array of infrared applications, new
equipment and technologies, safety and performance standards,
home and building inspections, and legal issues.
We thank our exhibitors, our speakers and
all who attended and helped to make this year’s conference
our best ever.”
Co-sponsored by Temperatures.com and BuildScanIR,
this year’s conference also featured the latest in infrared
imagers and software from several manufacturers.

Ray Peacock, President of Temperatures.com
called this year’s IR/INFO, “The best I have attended.”
Fred Baier, a veteran of several past IR/INFO
events, had this to say: “Thank you for a great IR/INFO
2008. As always, it was a great learning experience!”
Newcomer Kevin Richardson of the Infrared Thermal
Imaging Network was equally impressed, adding: “This conference
was simply amazing. I had a great time and learned a lot about
infrared thermography. My eyes are now open to the enormous
opportunities in the thermography industry. In addition, the
conference instilled a very strong
emphasis
on receiving the proper education and training in thermography.
Mr. Richardson adds, “The entire
staff at Infraspection went out of their way to make everyone
attending feel at home. The information presented, from the
short courses to the presentations, were very professional and
well done. I will be attending in 2009!!!”
