Burlington, NJ December 31, 2007--- The National
Organization for Remediators and Mold Inspectors, NORMI, has
announced that it will conduct is Qualified Sampling Technician
course at Infraspection Institute’s annual IR/INFO Conference.
The QST course is scheduled for Monday, January 14 in Orlando,
FL.
According
to Lance Eisen of NORMI, “Indoor Air Quality has become
a hot topic because many customers are beginning to understand
that there are many problems associated with bad indoor air.
Students of the QST course are trained in the seven components
of indoor air and taught how to address each. The QST course
is divided into two major sections: IAQ and the IAQ Management
Program, a program specifically designed to solve IAQ problems
in a holistic way.”
Jim
Seffrin, Director of Infraspection states, “The NORMI
QST course is a perfect addition to the IR/INFO 2008 venue.
The information in this course is particularly relevant to thermographers
wishing to broaden their knowledge for home and building inspections.”
Eisen
adds, “The Qualified Sampling Technician is trained in
a process developed by NORMI™ known as the NORM IAQ Management
Program. This program was designed to provide the client with
a low-cost evaluation of the air and surfaces in his living
environment. Continuing Education Units are available and recognized
by NACHI, ASHI, ActivTek Enviropnmental and EcoQuest.”
At
IR/INFO attendees can meet and learn from experienced thermographers
from around the world. IR/INFO attendees can also see the latest
in equipment, applications, practices and standards. In addition
to the QST course, IR/INFO 2008 will feature 5 Short Courses
